Feeling comfortable in the world of disputes comes a little easier when you’re a big brother to five siblings. Similarly, being one of six explains feeling at home in an environment where hierarchy plays second fiddle to everyone rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
As a recent law graduate, Scott loves learning-by-doing in a young firm with no “big heads”, a firm where the work is taken seriously but the atmosphere is fun.
A fortnightly volunteer at the Robina Community Legal Centre, Scott has no doubt that the work he’s training for is advising and fighting for people who might be at their most vulnerable. A desire to master the advocacy skills that would help someone going through a difficult time is what put Scott on the path to qualifying as a lawyer in the first place.
