Free Initial Consultation – Terms & Conditions
Twomey Dispute Lawyers (“we”, “our”, or “us”) offers a free 15-minute initial consultation to potential clients, subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. Purpose of the Consultation
The free consultation is provided to:
a. Understand the general nature of your legal issue;
b. Determine whether we are able to assist you;
c. Outline the next steps and likely legal costs if you choose to engage us.
2. No Legal Advice
No legal advice will be provided during the free consultation. Legal advice can only be given once you have formally engaged us as your legal representatives under a signed costs agreement.
3. No Document Review or Preparation
The lawyer conducting the free consultation will:
a. Not undertake any preparatory work;
b. Not review any documents or written material;
c. Rely solely on the notes made by our customer service team and any information you provide verbally during the consultation.
4. Duration
The consultation is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. If more time is required, we may recommend proceeding to a paid consultation.
5. Eligibility and Discretion
This free service is intended for individuals who are likely to require and afford our legal services. We reserve the right to:
a. Decline or cancel any request for a free initial consultation;
b. Do so at any time, for any reason or no reason, entirely at our discretion.
c. No Lawyer-Client Relationship
Requesting or participating in a free consultation does not create a solicitor-client relationship. There is no retainer established with us unless and until a formal client services agreement is entered into with us.
